Google: Site Reputation Abuse Manual Actions

Google’s SearchLiaison confirmed that Google’s site reputation abuse update started on Monday May 6th with manual actions to be followed as some point in the future with algorithmic ones. Manual Action Now, Algorithmic LaterSearchLiaison pointed out that the algorithmic portion of the Site Reputation Abuse policy is coming soon and that the enforcement is purely manual for now. Manual actions are when actual humans at Google personally review sites to determine if they should receive a manual action, which generally means removal from the search index.
