Accessibility for SEOs: How to Comply With ADA & WCAG

As the new Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) go live this month, a new light is being shined on website accessibility. Plus, as more countries worldwide make website accessibility a legal requirement, not meeting government-issued accessibility guidelines could mean a lawsuit that might take down your online business. Since then, the U.S. government has issued specific ADA guidance for website accessibility. Especially for large corporations with teams of developers and SEOs working together, there is no valid reason not to make website accessibility a priority. Where accessibility meets SEOAs mentioned, website accessibility is not a direct ranking factor.
