ROLE

The VP, Head of Account Services develops and maintains a strong relationship with Sid Lee's clients at the senior-most level (eg: C-Level Executives and VPs) and leads a wide range of organizational priorities and operational needs. As VP, Head of Account Services, they must understand the Client's business challenges and display thought leadership and an ability to lead a room of world-class thinkers and leaders. They are responsible for the overall management of Sid Lee USA's accounts, while also leading the account services department. They must be able to identify opportunities within existing accounts as well as be involved in new business opportunities.

The VP, Head of Account Services is critical to coordinating, prioritizing, and sequencing a multitude of work streams across a number of high-volume businesses. They will play a key role in developing solutions and implementing tools that result in streamlining complex organizational needs into successful solutions for the ongoing operation of Sid Lee, enabling amazing creative work.

The VP, Head of Account Services will play a key role on the Management team. They will work closely with the rest of the Management team to ensure the agency's business goals are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and continue to build the account management department, which consists of Account Directors, Account Supervisors, Account Executives and Account Coordinators
  • Build and maintain relationships for a leading client portfolio at the senior level, adding strategic value and leadership, always striving to exceed client expectations
  • Manage an average of $15-20MM in business
  • Control overall scopes, agency fees and production budgets
  • Oversee 20+ projects running simultaneously and maintain a high-level understanding of status and developments across those projects
  • Help develop and implement the agency's strategic and creative agenda for the client in collaboration with the ECD and Head of Strategy
  • Regularly engage agency leadership team to update on progress
  • Develop client mandates on time, on budget, and up to Sid Lee standards
  • SKILLS

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and grow $15-20MM in business
  • Ability to delegate and provide feedback, while also rolling up their sleeves and diving in when needed (everyone is a thinker and a doer in our culture)
  • Calm demeanor, even in the face of stress
  • Solid experience managing campaigns and projects across all platforms (communications, digital, experiential, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of best practices and processes as it relates to agency operations
  • Ability to establish and maintain a trust-based relationship with clients
  • Act as an expert and reference for clients
  • Fundamental legal knowledge for client contracts, production, and talent management, etc.
  • REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in a related discipline (preferably in a Business, Communication, Marketing, or Media Studies/Advertising program)
  • 15+ years of relevant experience working with top-tier brands
  • Experience leading large international accounts that deliver world-class global work
  • Substantial experience running full 360 integrated campaigns
  • Extensive working experience in large-scale ($2MM+) broadcasts and digital productions
  • Highly motivated by the end product and has the standards & references to show it
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Fluent in English; other languages considered a plus
