Job Description
Epsilon, the leader in Forrester's loyalty wave, is seeking a dynamic Senior
Director of Loyalty Strategy with a strong background in loyalty & CRM and the
ability to think strategically about how to guide and develop Epsilon's
loyalty products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the annual goal setting and objective planning process by working
with the broader loyalty team to identify and document top priorities to
Solidify Epsilon's top ranking from analysts for its loyalty technology and services
Differentiate Epsilon's loyalty offerings from competitors
Expand Epsilon's reach to new markets
Create a strategic vision for “what's next?” for loyalty at Epsilon
Track progress towards ongoing loyalty initiatives and communicate
progress to senior Epsilon leadership
Develop strategy for internal education and training about loyalty for
Epsilon's sales and customer partner teams
Act as a conduit between product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure
that client-facing sales and product materials are up to date and
effective
Stay abreast of developing market and loyalty trends and work with Epsilon
Marketing to prepare responses to these trends:
Develop ongoing points of view about loyalty trends
Create marketing materials to capitalize on trends and communicate Epsilon's POV
Propose new loyalty functionality and offerings to address loyalty trends
Increase market awareness of Epsilon's loyalty offerings by
Working with Epsilon Marketing to create original thought leadership content
Attending and speaking at Epsilon-sponsored loyalty events and conferences
Identifying new opportunities to generate market awareness
Conduct planning and research to support development of new features and
services for Epsilon's loyalty offerings
Organize go-to-market strategy for Epsilon's various loyalty solutions,
including packaging and promotion of these products
Expected Outcomes
Directly contribute to loyalty revenue goals by creating increased
awareness utility, and value of Epsilon loyalty offerings
Desired Competency Expertise:
Able to synthesize multiple inputs to create both immediate and long-term
strategy for loyalty business development
Strong communication and presentation skills
Technical understanding of marketing automation, customer data
collection/usage, mobile, and other customer-related technologies
Comfort level presenting to prospects, clients, and Epsilon leadership
Able to collect and organize inputs from a wide variety of loyalty team
members
Stays apprised of loyalty, CRM, and retail industry challenges, best
practices, activities, and trends
Basic understanding financial measurement, including P&L, ROI, etc.
Able to organize and lead product idea generation and development
Works efficiently with a wide variety of loyalty team members (marketing,
finance, technology, product, sales, etc.)
Able to organize and manage multiple ongoing projects
Willing to travel, minimally
Experience & Education:
A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience
Experience in marketing operations, omni-channel marketing
Experience designing, building and leading loyalty programs
MBA, or undergraduate with relevant business experience, preferred
