Job Description

SVP, Product Management – Verticals We're looking for a seasoned Product Management professional for the role SVP, Vertical Products to join the Epsilon team. This is an integral role on the Product Management team as you will work closely with the Chief Product Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and Sales Leadership organization across Epsilon and Publicis to translate client insights, business needs, and industry trends into products and solutions that empower for our Product Verticals. As the role is focused on growing our vertical businesses having had experiences in which you have created solutions for a Vertical (Retail, Healthcare, Travel, Auto, Financial Services, etc.) with proven outcomes will be beneficial. You will have a team of Vertical Product leaders supporting you in this role; you will aid them in setting a vision, overall strategy, and development of new products /solutions from ideation to launch. Having product and market knowledge of the Advertising Technology and Marketing Technology ecosystems is important to allow you to work cross functionally with your Product Management peers. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential as you will need to align Epsilon's Vertical approach with Publicis Groupe engaging with people who hold similar roles.

The ideal candidate can think strategically and solve complex business problems creatively. You can work cross functionally to translate the strategic vision into tactical roadmaps and tangible milestones with clear success criteria, while ensuring alignment with the vision across all internal stakeholder groups. The position requires a high degree of business acumen, knowledge of technology and consumer trends. As part of this role, you will be asked to set Vertical Product and Marketing strategy, manage a team for high performance, evangelize Epsilon's products, while remaining mindful of the competition to drive the successful delivery and adoption of existing and new products. The development of metrics and utilization of KPIs to measure success and improvement will be critical.

This is highly strategic operational role that requires a resourceful individual with organizational experience and savvy, strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, excellent communication skills and a solid background in AdTech and MarTech industries.

Responsibilities Of the Role

  • Responsible to develop a vision and set the strategic direction of Epsilon's Vertical offerings to ensure they align with client needs, business growth, and overall technology strategy.
  • Working closely with other Product Leaders and Clients to understand product use cases, customer journeys, business applicability and impact of each use case
  • Ability to understand Epsilon and Publicis different products, capabilities, and technology to create the “right” solutions for each vertical.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders / senior management / cross- functional teams to influence them for quicker decisions, manage sudden business and technical roadblocks and be able to clear them
  • Aid the team in defining product requirements and roadmaps including things as feasibility, effort, financial impact (revenue / cost savings) and strategic value.
  • Ensure the Marketing team is aligned with Vertical strategy on market positioning and Go to Market (GTM). Effectively communicates updates to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Build, mentor and manage a Vertical product team nurturing a client-driven product culture.
  • Distill and cascade core tenets of our Product strategy and vision for leadership and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Deep industry knowledge of Ad Tech media space and/or MarTech systems.
  • A minimum of 10 years proven managerial or supervisory experience
  • Strong collaboration skills and commitment to interdisciplinary thinking – ability to work across teams focused on strategy, technology, and data in service to new product solutions.
  • Must be able to lead product transformation visioning and roadmap, while at the same time being comfortable in rolling up sleeves and lead the day- to-day activities.
  • Successful managing and delivering a wide variety product solution to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects and resources concurrently.
  • Proven experience influencing a business or marketing strategy through the application and/or management of competitive information, market awareness and product positioning.
  • Ability to think strategically and ‘big picture', to formulate appropriate product solutions to solve client business needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and adept at developing relationships across diverse teams (including statistical, technical, and marketing resources)
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and innovative
  • Proven track record for providing leadership
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
  • BA/BS degree. Advanced degree and/or MBA desirable.
