THE EXPECTATION:
Per the SEO side of the role: build successful SEO campaigns for our
customers with a thorough understanding of their business and goals.
Per the sales side of the role : partner with Sales to communicate
strategic SEO insights with prospects and customers in support of our win
rate.
Understand prospects' business needs and align SEO insights around
achieving their goals.
Meet with and present to marketing and SEO decision-makers across various
verticals and company sizes.
Conduct analysis on target websites to uncover challenges and highlight
how our strategy is able to support a solution.
Manage the execution of our customers' contracted deliverables.
Meet with both customers and Customer Success Managers to gather
information and provide feedback on campaign progress.
Partner with our Customer Success Managers to guide and educate our
customers on the value of our SEO expertise and partnership.
Contribute to all technical and strategic SEO aspects of RFP/RFI
responses.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SEO and the digital marketing landscape
as it relates to Sales.
Support Sales with SEO specific questions and prospect pre-analysis
Participate in all assigned meetings and training.
THE “MUST HAVES”:
Multiple years working specifically for a digital marketing agency in an
SEO strategy role
Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights and next
steps.
Executive presentation skills, both remote and in person.
Experience working with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog,
etc.)
Advanced project management skills and experience with project management
tools like Asana.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
Exposure to various digital marketing disciplines, e.g., PPC, social, etc.
SEO-related certifications
