Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Complete applications development by gathering requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings. Design and develop user interfaces to internet/intranet CMS applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle. Support users by developing architectural documentation and assistance tools. Recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives. Determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests. Troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms. Integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting. Create multimedia applications by using authoring tools. Studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Experience must include one year in each of the following:
