Job Description

Our Senior Directors are responsible for cultivating and maintaining successful client relationships along with managing a team of direct reports.

As a Senior Director, you will be responsible for managing your client portfolios to acceptable revenue and margin goals across their paid search and social programs. In addition, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and mentoring your account teams, from production-level employees up to Account Leads.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Driving paid search & social strategy with a focus on execution & delivery
  • Cultivating and maintaining successful client relationships
  • Ensuring your client portfolios meet and exceed acceptable revenue and margin goals
  • Driving strategy and improving client performance
  • Providing feedback and strategic guidance to your account teams
  • Leading, mentoring, and managing team members
  • Promoting our core values and driving a positive work environment/culture
  • Building QBRs and presenting findings to your clients
  • Identify ways to scale operational processes to drive efficiency & margin, continuity & quality of service while minimizing client & business risk
  • Work and prioritize within timelines; coordinate work-steams across teams and channels
  • Stay current with Google and Facebook new features and best practices
  • You'll need to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' paid search & social experience (spanning all core AdWords & Facebook products) and a minimum 3 years of experience in a client-facing digital marketing role
  • Proven prior work experience managing a team of 3+ direct reports / team members and demonstrated ability to mentor and develop direct reports into more senior roles
  • A deep understanding of AdWords/Facebook Ads Manager and be skilled at effectively communicating paid search & social goals, targets, and tactics to clients and can get into the weeds when necessary.
  • The ability to audit an account and present actionable insights to a client
  • The ability to provide feedback and strategic guidance to all paid media channels (search, social, mobile, display & video)
  • To hold your own talking growth strategy, SEO, CRO, analytics and measurement with marketing managers and C-Level executives alike
  • Experience acting as an escalation point for clients, evaluating team services levels and proposing improvements
  • Additional things that will impress us:

  • The ability to identify upsell opportunities across all agency offerings and execute on those opportunities to grow revenue on existing clients
  • You are skilled at effectively communicating/teaching optimization tasks to multiple team members at once and have experience managing managers
  • Successful track record of crafting and participating in sales pitches and audits
  • Proven prior work experience managing a P&L and hitting margin targets
