Duties: Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision-making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. Perform monthly SPLA reporting analytics and deliver monthly reports to stakeholders for authorization and Procurement for Enrollment processing. Examine business requirements to make recommendation that ensures financial efficiency for equipment and software procurement transitions. Serve as the IT liaison to the asset management and vendor procurement management efforts. Optimize asset control and inventory management processes to track accountability identification, location, maintenance, contracts and lifecycle status. Support the negotiation for pricing, terms and conditions of sale and warranties of goods and products with key suppliers and vendors. Improve productivity and maximize ROI by minimizing IT hardware and software costs. Develop the strategy, provide the vision, and set the direction on its day-to-day operations regarding asset management processes. Serve as support liaison for stakeholders that administrate and process IT asset renewals using SAM tools within the organization. Optimize asset control and inventory management processes to track accountability identification, location, maintenance, contracts and lifecycle status. Identify opportunities for volume purchasing to obtain price breaks. Develop OEM audit planning and preparation materials as needed to respond to audit requests.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or related field and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate in a related occupation. Experience must also include one year of experience in the following:
