Directive Consulting is the performance marketing agency for SaaS and Tech companies. We use Customer Generation (a marketing methodology developed by us) which focuses on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs. We offer Paid Media, SEO, Performance Creative, and Video to our clients by creating comprehensive digital marketing strategies that allow our clients to hit their SQL targets, every time.

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Art Director that will be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables we present to our clients are conceptually creative and of the highest quality. You will be tasked with maintaining tone and voice across the client's assets as well as mentoring the design and video team members to build creative components that help our clients to differentiate themselves in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will be an expert in creative strategy, quality control, and client communication. This position will report directly to our Creative Director, and will specialize in all video projects as well as design.

Key Responsibilities
 Oversee multiple video projects from start to finish and give creative direction/feedback to ensure for creative quality and that projects are on time and budget
 Conceptualize, create, and present mood boards, storyboards, and scripts
 Oversee the creation and management of all creative assets, including display ads, landing pages, email campaigns, social media posts, and more.
 Conduct weekly 1:1's with designers and provide them with real-time support and guidance
 Work directly with clients during the project phase and participate in bi-weekly meetings (Some client travel as needed for key moments like ABR, QBR, etc.)
 Work closely with Paid Media, SEO, Marketing, and other teams to understand client objectives and deliver creative solutions that meet those objectives.
 Onboard new clients through setting NSM goals and targets for CRO and CTR
 Ensure efficiency and effectiveness through continual process improvement
Qualifications:
 At least 6 years of experience in art direction, with a focus on performance-based video and marketing campaigns in an agency environment. 
 Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate unforeseen challenges in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
 Experience in client communication and management with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding client expectations.
 Solid project management skills including time management, resource allocation, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.
 Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere, Figma, and Illustrator.
 Strong analytical skills and experience with analytics tools such as Unbounce and Google Analytics.
 Proven track record of guiding and mentoring creative teams and delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
 A portfolio of high-quality video and design work (applications without a portfolio will not be considered)

Work Environment Requirements

As a remote-first company, you'll have the ability to work from anywhere in the US, with the option to enjoy our state-of-the-art offices in Irvine, California. For some positions, as posted, we will accommodate global opportunities where we have established businesses, including Canada, the UK, and Australia. For global locations, you must have established and current work authorization and permanently reside in that country.

This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity tools as necessary.
