Pricing Manager

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Pricing, you will be a trusted advisor to Senior Leaders across many Epsilon business units by providing thoughtful pricing & deal strategy recommendations and ensuring timely responses to global business opportunities.

The Pricing Manager will contribute to Epsilon's growth and profitability through pricing initiatives. This role focuses on newly acquired business unit, CitrusAd. As the Pricing Manager, you will have three primary functions:

  • CitrusAd – Support CitrusAd pricing strategy, business integration and large/strategic deals
  • Strategic pricing for new retail media network (RMN) offerings involving CitrusAd
  • Strategy & deal pricing for CitrusAd components of RMN bundles across Publicis
  • This will be an individual contributor role initially with the idea that as the business grows, so will the team. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who values a role that offers increasing responsibility and a fair degree of autonomy to partner with various functions of the business.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • CitrusAd – Support CitrusAd pricing strategy, business integration and large/strategic deals

  • Lead financial modeling for large and complex deals
  • Lead pricing discussions on deal review calls
  • Provide negotiation strategy recommendations for large and complex deals
  • Develop deep understanding of the company's operations and cost drivers, and incorporate this knowledge into pricing practices to improve margins
  • Establish and refine common rate cards for decision making
  • Develop and maintain a common template for deal approvals
  • Improve common pricing tool that can be used for deals going forward
  • Conduct actual vs. “as sold” analysis to improve existing models
  • Ensure integration of tooling into CPQ pricing tool
  • Strategic pricing for new retail media network (RMN) offerings involving CitrusAd

  • Partner with Product and Pricing managers to maintain competitiveness of CitrusAd's portfolio using internal and external benchmarks
  • Work closely with product management to understand product roadmaps and feature functionality
  • Collaborate with Product teams to collect new market intelligence on product enhancements
  • Build value maps based on product capabilities to understand the overall value of the product offering to the marketplace
  • Understand the product cost drivers and recommend changes to improve margins
  • Bring forward pricing strategies and changes in collaboration with product leaders to drive long term profitability
  • Develop recommendations to streamline and simplify the price delivery and processes
  • Determine model impacts, provide definition, gain alignment and implement pricing process changes that simplify and improve speed to quote
  • Strategy & deal pricing for CitrusAd components of RMN bundles across Publicis

  • Develop bundling pricing & strategy for CitrusAd to cross-sell with other Epsilon business units
  • Lead financial modeling for CitrusAd components of large and complex bundles
  • Provide white glove service, helping commercial teams navigate the quoting process and deliver client quotes expediently
  • Identify areas of opportunity to reduce time-to-quote while maintaining accuracy and mitigating risk to Epsilon
  • Requirements :

  • 7-10 years of experience quoting/pricing technology, media or software solutions or management consulting
  • Experience in implementing and executing pricing strategies
  • A bachelor's degree – quantitative or business discipline preferred (Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Economics)
  • Strong financial analysis and analytics background – quick and thorough problem solver
  • Experience performing competitive analysis to understand cost, value and market positioning
  • Excel Expertise
  • Experience managing and evolving pricing processes that involve global, cross-functional partners
  • Experience developing PowerPoint presentations for a senior audience
  • Executive presence in working with Senior Leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across multiple geographies to create impact; ability to support and meet dynamic and tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills including enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, and a collaborative mindset
  • Recognize opportunities for continuous process improvement and provide feedback to the appropriate team(s) to address identified gaps
  • Self-motivated and high-level of ownership
