Job Description
Responsibilities :
Develop a high-scale performance testing strategy for the mobile, web and
API services. Develop detailed plan documenting functional and non-
functional transactions including but not limited to, data volume, users,
data needs. Obtain alignment with stake holders and solution architects.
Design and executed benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other
performance tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior.
Provide technical feedback on system availability, performance,
reliability, and scalability of the applications in scope.
Identify technical issues - test scripts, test results, facilitate the
resolution and necessarily follow up with Development and other cross-
functional teams.
Review compliance with current standards and procedures for project
business requirements documentation, testing documentation and metrics.
Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage
Collection and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of
the applications.
Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related
documentation required for validation and analysis. Publish results and
receive appropriate signoff.
Lead the effort to prepare detail status reports, and monitoring of all
defects and issues.
Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the
application.
Enable automated testing in the context of Continuous Integration and
Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
Partner with the various software infrastructure teams to optimize system
performance includes Non-functional requirement gathering, planning,
workload modeling, Performance Bottleneck identification.
Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality to promote client
satisfaction.
Mentor and coach, the team as needed on best practices of performance
testing execution and analysis.
Lead onshore and offshore teams.
Qualifications :
10+ years of software testing experience
10+ years of experience in Performance and Load testing using tools such
as JMeter, HP Load Runner, Blazemeter
10 + years of experience in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy,
Workload Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data
Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management
Extraordinary level of understanding for complex business requirements
Experience executing and coordinating integration, performance,
regression, and user-acceptance testing.
High level of expertise in Load runner and JMeter.
Experience in Testing APIs using POSTMAN tool.
Experience with Version control like Git, Bitbucket
Experience with continuous testing tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps
Demonstrates a breadth and/or depth of technical/Industry competence
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Flexibility to learn new technologies as required by project
Understanding of current technologies and Software Test Lifecycle (STLC)
Familiar with JIRA or similar defect tracking tool
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze business requirements and technical design documents
Ability to obtain, understand and respond strategically to client needs
Highly detail oriented, well organized, and able to coordinate multiple
projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Bachelors / master's degree
