Directive Consulting is the performance marketing agency for SaaS and Tech companies. We use Customer Generation (a marketing methodology developed by us) which focuses on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs. We offer Paid Media, SEO, Performance Creative, and Video to our clients by creating comprehensive digital marketing strategies that allow our clients to hit their SQL targets, every time.

The Director of Video is a leadership role responsible for spearheading the agency's Video offering, and partnering closely with our Content and Paid Media leadership to ensure that our holistic digital strategies that benefit from video can be executed and achieve the desired Client KPIs.

Reporting directly to the COO, you will work collaboratively with cross- functional teams in order to provide B2B SaaS videos for all stages of the client's sales funnel (awareness, conversion etc.), improve user satisfaction, and drive revenue growth for our clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:
 Client Strategy, Creative Conceptualization and Execution: Develop innovative and strategic video concepts that align with client goals, their target audience and brand identity. You will be expected to execute simple motion, animation and other videos when bandwidth allows as well as understand the KPIs your videos must drive, and what edits may need to occur in order to improve performance over time
 Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with our Paid Media, SEO and Content teams to ensure our Video efforts are integrated into broader digital marketing strategies. Ensure close collaboration in understanding the client goals, and KPIs are the foundation for the Video execution and that you are receiving a data feedback loop on performance to ensure video sequencing can be as effective as possible.
 New Business Growth and Pitching: Collaborate with the business development team to pitch video concepts to potential clients. Develop compelling presentations and proposals that showcase the agency's video production capabilities. Play a key role in client meetings, presenting creative concepts and strategies to win new business opportunities.
 Freelance Management: Identify and onboard freelance talent, including videographers, editors, and other specialists as needed. Manage relationships with freelance professionals, ensuring clear communication and adherence to project timelines and quality standards and partner with your Project Manager to ensure all freelancers are staying within budget in order to ensure the project stays within budget
 Drive Demand for your offering by reaching a “Proposals Held” target of 10 per month
 Stay within the defined budget for all video projects to ensure margin is achieved
 Proven experience (4+ years) in a Director-level or higher position such as Creative Director, Director or Production, in an agency environment
 Proven experience in managing and leading a team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
 Exceptional creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a strong track record of developing innovative ideas.
 In-depth knowledge of performance marketing metrics and the ability to apply them to campaigns to drive desired outcomes.
 Proficiency in proposal preparation and presentation, with a strong ability to articulate ideas and value propositions to clients.
 Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.

Work Environment Requirements

As a remote-first company, you'll have the ability to work from anywhere in the US, with the option to enjoy our state-of-the-art offices in Irvine, California. For some positions, as posted, we will accommodate global opportunities where we have established businesses, including Canada, the UK, and Australia. For global locations, you must have established and current work authorization and permanently reside in that country.

This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity tools as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication, must have reliable internet access, and a professional background.
