The Role: Director of Data Strategy and Analytics is a key member of the leadership team who determines strategic direction for data implementation, analysis, and compliance at Disruptive Advertising and creates an environment of skilled marketers who are exceptional at driving results in the platforms they manage.

As Director of Data Strategy and Analytics , you will receive:

  • As Director of Data Strategy and Analytics , you will

  • Develop the strategic direction for data implementation and data analysis at Disruptive.
  • Conduct 1:1s and monthly growth plans with their team members to align their performance with the goals of the company and help them feel aligned to the MVV of the company.
  • Make critical employee decisions in order to grow and retain top talent within the data department
  • Provide team with real-time, up-to-date learnings on what's working well in data implementation, analysis, and compliance.
  • Provides the team with training & support related to other elements of the positions (communicating with AMs, communicating with clients, managing their workload, etc.)
  • Create client growth by identifying data-focused solutions supporting client goals
  • Develop and oversee measurement plans and strategies to provide insights, address learning goals, and improve the effectiveness of the program.
  • Translate unclear "draft" learning goals into clear, executable data analysis that addresses causality and connection.
  • Present findings to account managers and/or clients cogently, with a focus on delivering understanding that the account manager and client can translate to their teams, peers and leadership.
  • What you need to be Director of Data Strategy and Analytics :

  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics roles delivering reporting, data- driven insights, predictive modeling, and recommendations to internal or external clients.
  • Experience developing integrated long-term analytics programs for clients, based on goals and business model.
  • Evidence of developing a strategic direction for their team
  • Evidence of understanding client and account team perspectives and applying the necessary analytical tools to meet their needs
  • Have an up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing channels and what reporting needs are to drive performance, holding any relevant certifications platforms that you oversee
  • Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager and/or other analytics tools and reporting dashboards
  • Experience with cloud-based big data platforms – e.g. Big Query
  • Measurement experience across multiple marketing domains (e.g., media and CRM)
  • Experimental design and offer testing – both theory and practice.
  • Strong evidence of personal adoption of Disruptive's core values
  • Strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills to foster a team environment

  • (Preferred) Experience managing a budget or P&L
  • (Preferred) Understand business metrics & how they apply to a business' marketing in order to make recommendations on strategy/budgets/etc.
