Overview and Job Description:

The Director of Finance Reporting is a highly visible position with responsibility to work with FP&A leadership and support initiatives across the Epsilon organization. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded performer who thrives in a fast paced and demanding environment, embraces a collaborative work style, and possesses a clear customer and operations focus. Candidate must have significant prior finance experience, including extensive reporting & analysis responsibility, and have demonstrated success in driving process enhancement, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Relationships:

Reports to: Vice President, Finance Reporting

Works closely with: Senior Finance Management team and staff; FP&A Partnering team; Publicis Groupe Finance; Epsilon Accounting; Epsilon HR; Publicis Shared Services teams across multiple geographies

Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support to FP&A leadership, producing both standard and ad hoc analysis to support CFO and other C-Suite
  • Coordinate monthly forecast and iterative annual budgeting processes.
  • Manage FP&A initiatives related to reporting & planning support for the organization.
  • Liaise with Publicis Groupe Finance partners as necessary for reporting, planning, and system structure support.
  • Oversee the quality and integrity of all financial data that is loaded and submitted within the planning systems.
  • Partner with other Publicis agencies on cross-sell activity and reporting.
  • Oversee timely creation, quality control, & distribution of monthly/quarterly/annual internal reporting
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance around financial planning & reporting processes, with an eye toward automation and improved effectiveness.
  • Provide reporting support to the Epsilon accounting team during the monthly close process.
  • Support analyses of Division M&A opportunities and acquisition integration.
  • Perform ongoing ad hoc financial modeling and analysis in support of the broader finance organization.
  • Qualifications:

  • BS in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CMA preferred
  • 10+ years FP&A experience, corporate experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience managing and developing staff
  • Extensive cross-functional partnering and process management experience
  • Financial systems experience: advanced Excel, Access and Hyperion Smartview; strong PowerPoint skills; Prophix planning and SAP G/L experience a plus
  • Highly motivated and self-directed; exhibits thought leadership and strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Services and software modeling experience a plus.
