As an Associate Director of Media Analytics, Analytics Operations, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, troubleshooting live performance concerns, developing new analytic capabilities, and designing new project initiatives. The primary responsibilities of the Media Analytics team cover: the design and development of new analytics solutions, model deployment and feature integration with Engineering and Decision Sciences teams, and support of our Media Delivery team. The successful candidate should have deep knowledge of analytics using SQL and Python, data analytics and problem solving, and great communication skills. In this role, you will:

  • Be an expert on Epsilon Digital Media Services' platform and products.
  • Work extensively with Media Delivery, Decision Sciences, Engineering, and other Analytics Operations teams.
  • Be a subject matter expert for the applications and tools used or developed by Media Analytics
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Media Delivery troubleshooting requests by performing analytics- driven investigations, developing recommendations, and effectively communicating results.
  • Maintain high quality in the design and implementation of our Model Library code base.
  • Support Decision Sciences new analytic product initiatives through integrated development, A/B testing, and rollout support
  • Automate existing ad hoc processes into scalable ones using SQL and Python.
  • Lead or participate in projects to improve Epsilon's Digital Media Solutions
  • Serve as a mentor for Analysts and Senior Analysts by leading by example and providing guidance, advice, and feedback on technical and non- technical challenges.
  • Participate in training initiatives to better prepare our Media Delivery team in troubleshooting efforts.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Economics or other related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of relevant analytics experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on industry use in SQL, including building tables, functions, views, and complex queries.
  • 3+ years of experience with a scripting language (Python, R), including creating reusable functions or libraries.
  • 3+ years of experience in people management and project leadership
  • Familiar with version control such as Git.
  • Extremely detail oriented and takes the initiative to check data quality and integrity on complex datasets.
  • Solid problem-solving, communication and writing skills.
  • Highly motivated & driven.
  • Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Data visualization using Tableau.
  • Knowledge of data engineering.
  • Experience with statistics and machine learning.
  • Experience working for a marketing data company or data management platform.
