Hi! We're Kulin (pronounced Koo • lin), a digital marketing agency focused on helping build scalable strategies across all channels. We have recently joined the Versett group of global companies. We're seeking creative leadership support to join our performance marketing agency specializing in digital advertising for e-commerce brands across North America and the world. Our tight-knit crew is spread across Canada, with access to offices in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, London and Toronto. As the Associate Creative Director, you'll work closely with our Creative Director and manage a pod of 2-5 designers, editors and creative strategists. You'll collaborate with clients to develop effective advertising creative, and foster a culture of creativity, collaboration and innovation within the team and our organisation as a whole.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute creative strategies and direction for clients that align with their business goals.
  • Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team of 2-5 (designers/strategists/editors)
  • Consistently deliver constructive and impactful feedback on ad creative
  • Collaborate with other departments to find winning strategies based on creative performance data.
  • Lead calls with clients to get alignment on brand voice and vision, identify opportunities, and help plan marketing calendars.
  • Balancing conversion driven decision making with brand building decision making.
  • Coach and mentor your staff, meeting with them regularly to establish and achieve their goals.
  • Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior creative role (design, strategy, copy or content creation), preferably in an agency setting.
  • Experience with direct-to-consumer e-commerce brands
  • Experience managing and coaching a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong knowledge of conversion-focused, social media advertising best practices
  • Proven track record of developing high-converting social ads
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
