ROLE

As an Account Director, you will play a key role in managing our client relationships, alongside our Head of Growth and Client Partnerships. You will also be taking the lead on managing an international client in the sportswear and lifestyle space. Your responsibilities will include leading conversations, effectively communicating mandate requirements to our Creative and Strategy teams, and ensuring that the creative produced meets both client expectations and our agency's standards.

With your keen analytical skills and solutions-oriented mindset, you will navigate complex marketing challenges, identifying strategic moments to intervene and guide multidisciplinary projects to success. Your leadership abilities will shine as you manage, train, and develop your team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Additionally, you will establish and maintain trusted relationships with clients, acting as their expert for all account service needs, while also driving business development initiatives to fuel growth.

With excellent relational judgment and a global perspective on account management, you will foster trust with clients and inspire your team to deliver exceptional work, while demonstrating a desire to innovate and challenge the status quo.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the conversation
  • Efficiently communicate mandate requirements to the Creative and Strategy teams
  • Able to effectively communicate the agency's POV and teach this skill to other members of the agency team
  • Be an active listener, demonstrating real-time problem solving (in tandem with CD/ECD)
  • Control the quality of the content produced and ensure that it meets clients' requirements and the agency's standards
  • Understand, analyze, and immerse yourself in mandates confided in you by the clients, in line with their business objectives
  • Identify business opportunities in line with clients' portfolios and create communication and marketing strategies to concretize them
  • Have a firm knowledge of a client's business objectives and state of their business
  • Control global account budget and optimize ROI
  • Plan projects and revenues
  • Supervise clients' profitability by being knowledgeable about the client's business
  • Evaluate and control production costs and timelines with the help of your team
  • Oversee all scopes of work and build a team around those
  • Monitor scope and identify scope creep or opportunities for expansion
  • Manage, train, and guide the development of your team.
  • Coach team members, establish each person's role, and delegate tasks
  • Keep the team informed and inspired
  • Guide and positively influence projects, teams, and clients by providing them with direction and vision
  • Demonstrate a desire to innovate, challenge the status quo and push limits with the projects you lead
  • Manage and optimize 360 ̊ multidisciplinary projects by identifying the right players at the right moment

  • REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 6-10 years of agency experience in a similar position
  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience with an account involving print, broadcast and digital production
  • Experience in fashion/sportswear/lifestyle category (nice to have)
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written
  • The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $165,000.
